Local media seems to be starting to shift the blame to the group home, which is the first place I personally would look. If someone was being paid to keep this man safe and out of trouble, being fully aware of his condition, they failed pretty miserably. It makes a lot more sense than blaming a homeowner whose goal was to protect his family from an unknown invader. Of course, comments on those articles indicate indignation that the blame should go anywhere but on gun owners. As you said, it's Austin.Abraham wrote:If you open the provided link in an earlier post, (kxan.com link) some of the comments are outlandish.
How so?
Many are defending the intruder.
While I didn't take the time to count, I'd say those supporting the defending homeowner and those supporting the intruder are roughly about 50/50.
But then, it happened in Austin where liberals flock and lefties don't believe in self defense.
