I often wear shorts so I was thinking it may be smart to get a shoulder holster. If I have a shoulder and wear an unbuttoned or loosely buttoned shirt over the shoulder holster, do I have to be concerned with printing.

Example. If a place such as say...whataburger is ok with CC but opposed to OC do you have to be worried about printing as an issue? I have never worn a shoulder, so I don't have a good example.
My most frequent carry mode is a vertical shoulder holster with a short sleeved button up shirt. I have had no issues with printing and no one has ever given me a second look. You do have to watch out for the "huggers" and the back slappers though. I recently bumped into a lady I had not seen in awhile and got an attack hug. I blocked out the gun but when she rubbed the strap on my back I got the "what is that?" question. I told her it was a back support and got the "you poor dear!".
I like the shoulder carry method for comfort and concealment is good. It can be a little hot wearing two shirts on some days though. :thumbs2:

I often wear shorts
Except on Sundays, I ALWAYS wear Wrangler Cargo Shorts, one Glock 26 with a 15 round Mag in the front pocket using Desantis Nemesis Pocket Holster, as Backup, and Primary Glock 26 with 20 Round mag in Desantis Tuck-This 2 on a CompTac Kydex REINFORCED belt

On Sundays, I wear a pair of 12" Deep Pocket pants (or cold ice days,12" deep pocket jeans from Duluth Trading Co.) Same 2 pistols + Holsters

Done that daily since about 2008

I might shop for shoulder holsters as an option, or for third way to carry.

Give the Kangaroo Carry a look. Kind of a bellyband with a hint of shoulder holster
