Good gosh, stop with the hyperbole, drama and comparisons that do not fit. You will find if you did a little research I am very much against cops stopping people for no reason other than the fact they are carrying a handgun legally.

We are not talking about cops on the street here. We are talking about a private property owner that has a liquor license they need to protect and they may deem asking to verify a chl status to be the best way for them.

Just like someone thinks I said I had some right to be on their property anyway. Shopping at most walmarts without some sort of weapon is taking a risk in the first place. And yes I agree the police are assuming people are guilty.

Your "right" or privilege comes with conditions. They do not have to allow you in their store. If you refuse to show your chl to confirm you have one, they can terminate your "tight" or privilege to be there. They have a vested interest in confirming you have a chl if you are going to open carry.

This still has nothing to do with cops stopping people on the street.

I guess i think of it like if i was carrying some paid for merchandise around (drink, whatever) and they asked if I purchased it... I would show my receipt, less they think I stole it and call LE. This feels analogous to me...
