I was in the Army so many decades ago that I have absolutely no idea what all of these abbreviations even mean!

Let me help you out there
CAC = An all in one ID card/computer login card that at least when I was still enlisted broke quite easily and were constantly left behind because who remembers to grab a card from a card reader before wandering to the bathroom or chow?
LES = Lies and earnings statement -- your paystub basically and also includes your accumulated leave time
AKO = no idea
ERB = no idea

- AKO

Edited to add: I see that I'm not the only one lost here........

CAC =
Common Access Card (I got out long before they issued these)
LES =
Leave and Earnings Statement (effectively your pay stub)
AKO =
Army Knowledge Online(this one is new for me, but apparently it's a database of info)
ERB =
Enlisted Record Brief (this is another new one for me as well)
BCT =
Basic Combat Training (we used to call this Basic Training, but I guess some consultant gets paid by the letter, so the 'C' got added in?)
The military has
its own language. The proliferation of TLAs only makes it harder, for sure. My favorite term from back in the day was 'crunchies', which referred to (a) infantry in general, or (b) anybody not inside my tank.
I'm sure that you can figure out the etymology of that one.

Let's see just how far back some of you "old timers" go. How about:
EDDPAC
DROS
STRIKE

If DROS is what I think it is, we called it DEROS.
Date Of Expected Return From Overseas
Mine was 16 Aug 76

I'm sure that you can figure out the etymology of that one.

I had read that one before, including the part about tank doctrine for using the coax to hose the crunchies off one anothers' tanks.

That is the textbook method. But those in the know, know that Beehive rounds work well, also.

your CAC card is allowed to be copied for the purpose of obtaining your CHL, if its government use it can be copied, but not for civilian uses do giving a copy to DPS is ok.

I probably mis-remember but, think it was "Strategic Area Command"
