I don't necessarily agree that paranoids are BGs.
I have a good friend who is a paranoid schizophrenic, and he's one hell of a good guy, just, you know, paranoid.

I think this is even more handy to help keep an eye out for the BG's or suspicious persons around you rather than to teach a CHL to be mindful of their movements.

People with paranoid schizophrenia are generally harmless, they they do go off the deep end eventually.

I was thinking more of drug users. Many heavy drug users become seriously paranoid.

lol sorry... sarcasm doesn't always play well in simple words, i was playing the paranoid druggie there for a second, thus the smiley face.

When I read seriously paranoid, I immediately started thinking about being friviously paranoid

When I started carrying around home using my C-Tac my wife asked me why I was "Walking like John Wayne?" and I realized in most of his later movies he carried in a holster high to the belt and slightly behind right hip, right where my C-Tac was.

I don't think most people are awake enough in public to notice much of anything.

Couldn't agree more! I've only been carrying for three or so months, and I don't have the most concealable rig...nobody notices.

I used to worry about so much, but not anymore.

I've had people physically bump into my gun, or run into it when giving me a hug. Most of the time, they're unaware there's anything there, despite the contact.

I'm currently using a holster with what are to me conspicuous belt clips (tuckable holster). So far, no one's even noticed them.

So long as you keep it reasonably concealed, and don't advertise through your motion that you're hiding something, no one around will have a clue (except maybe fellow CHLers ).
