My wife owns more guns than shoes and purses!

My wife is no shopaholic. She doesn't spend much on shoes and purses and doesn't usually buy a new one unless one wears out.

She goes back and forth on whether or not she will get her LTC. Sometimes she indicates that she would like to get her license, but then she talks about how she doesn't want to carry a gun until the kids are older. I can think of about a million reasons why she should want to carry a gun while the kids are still little, but she wouldn't hear it from me. I have to consider also that she needs to have the desire to carry a gun to protect herself and the kids before she would fully be able to do so carefully and responsibly. If she only does it because I pressure her into it, then there is more of a risk than if she fully commits to it of her own volition.

My wife has no problem with buying another gun, as long as it doesn't run us short on the bills. Actually, she has collected two 9mm's, .38, .45acp and an ar15 .223/5.56 . We won't talk about my collection.

Congrats on the purchase. :fire

I am not going to associate with you guys. Afterall I dont have a problem! Just need another safe...

Congrats on new acquisition!
So.....what I hear is that you're addicted to gun safes, and buying all those guns is just an attempt to justify the safes you're lusting after. That's called denial, son. You need help. ;-)
OHHHHHHHHHHHH

But it's just too shallow for me. I'd rather it be eight feet tall, eight feet wide, and 10 feet deep (or 12). That way, you could build it into your house as a closet and have a lot more room than just for 300 guns. Would need an absolutely failsafe way to open it from the inside, though; just in case. Could also acts as a safe room from an incoming RPG. If TAM hadn't bought his RV, you know he'd want a safe that size....

At that point it may be more cost effective to build a vault on site.

You betcha. Just like the summer home TAM is buying in Pennsylvania. But first thing he's gonna do is rip up the pink carpeting, then scrap the bar and sauna and use those areas for more practical purposes:

If TAM hadn't bought his RV, he'd buy TWO safes that size.

I see that they have one near us in League City that meets at The Arms Room. I'll try to bring it up.
