I have owned a couple of these revolvers for several years. They were the first CHL guns I bought for myself and my wife back in the 90s.
They are the NAA Black Widow model that feature the oversize grips and good sights. They are surprisingly accurate. Once I actually won a BUG side shoot at a USPSA match shooting one. Most of the others were shooting your typical .380s and 32s. Range was 7 yards and the NAA .22 certainly held its own against all of them.

My current preferred CHL piece is a G43. However, living in Galveston, I find myself in shorts and sandals most of the year. I have taken to slipping the NAA into my pocket more often lately because it is so easy to conceal. I agree .22 mag is not optimal, but far better than nothing.

The .22WMR is potent out of a 4 inch or longer barrel, not so much out of the short barrel on the NFA I have.

I feel better armed with a 4 inch blade.

I carried one for years as my lazy carry, sold it at a gunshow and bought a Keltec P32 as my new lazy carry ( lazy carry = to lazy to carry my real gun).I had one with both cylinders and enjoyed shooting it with the .22 lr cylinder. It was surprisingly accurate and took forever to go through a box of ammo. I wish I would have never sold it and may buy another soon. Thi

I do have a bayonet from a Mosin 91/30 rifle. 18 inches of cold steel.

There is a gun show in Fort Worth this weekend. Will give me a chance to look at different options. Thanks for the feedback.

Carry one every evening when the wife and I walk the dog around the neighborhood as a back up to a walking stick and a 9mm. First round is loaded with bird shot. Loud noise and being peppered with shot worked perfectly to persuade 2 aggressive dogs that didn't take the hint to back off. Perfect for the role I picked it up for.

Took a look at the NAA. Not a bad little pistol. Ended up buying a 1944 Enfield no.4 mark 1 though. I'll probably pick up an NAA at the next show.

Nice little gun. Small easy to carry. Short range. I went to the NAA site and bought a different grip, covers the trigger like a knife. I carry it sometimes around my place, killed a rooster, skunk and snake with it, each one shot.
