This is good news, I think.
I would imagine this has a better chance than HB 421.
If the House votes and passes, then to the Governor.
Let me know if I'm mistaken.

It would have to go back to the Senate for concurrence or a conference committee appointed.

So if I'm reading my "TX Legislative Process for Dummies" correctly the House amended SB2065 (now containing HB421 - volunteer church secuity) returns to the Senate to be concurred or deliberated in a Conference Committee.
So we need to be contacting our Senators now to encourage them to concur the amended SB2065?
It looks like this bill is one step away from the Governor's desk if I've understood everything correctly.
