One more thing, When I had a commander length gun I use to carry it in the same HF1 that I carried my full size gun in. There is only 1 inch difference in barrel length and it worked just fine.

After a visit to Collectors Firearms (man do I love that place) I tried a Galco owb and stuck a 3" Kimber in her. Wow it was almost not there. They also had the Tucker HF1 but not for the small kimber.

Now I guess I will sell my Baby Eagle and XD , my wife would not be happy with more toys for the boy.

After wearing the Galco, it was the model with snaps SIDE SNAP SCABBARD I tried a 4" Kimber in the Galco CONCEALABLE BELT HOLSTER with non snap belt loops and it does hug you a little tighter but of course you must remove the belt to unholster.

So, now which Kimber ?? 3" or 4" I have heard FTF issues with certain models?? I really like the 3" compactness but is the 4 much more accurate. Nights sights?? laser grip??

If I had the money a would own the Wilson Combat 3.5" however I do not want to spend 3k on a pistol

Horsehide does not suffer any detrimental affect from perspiration except discoloration. I don't understand the comment regarding "stiff edges"unless that reference is to limited to kydex. I have worn a Galco Ultra Deep Cover tuckable IWB holster with a Springfield Ultra Compact next to the skin for many years but have never been aware of any "edges" and do not regard the darkened color as being important.

I have a comptac iwb for a compact 1911,the kydex didn't cover the whole gun and body sweat was causing a rust problem,so i modifieded it,i cut a piece of black plastic and using small pop rivets riveted it in 2 places at the top of the holster that wouldn't contact the firearm i then inserted my 1911 and using scissors trimmed the plastic til it covered everything i wanted but still allowed a comfortable draw,I then bought a sheepskin seat belt cover and spray adhesive and glued the sheepskin on side of holster against my skin used my clippers on my electric razor to shear the wool a little thinner and my holster now is very comfortable to carry and protects my firearm from sweat

I recently bought a Minotaur MTAC Holster. I walk the dogs 3 to 5 miles every evening. It is absolutely the most comfortable holster I have used. It has soft leather back and that makes it a little hard to re-holster.

I just got an MTAC a few days ago and I've gotta say, Very comfortable. You forget it's even there. I also got a single mag pouch form Comp-Tac and love it also. Their customer service is also top notch and they ship very fast. I placed my order late on a Tuesday and by Friday my order was delivered. Very Impressed

The CTAC didn't work for me either, but I have a difficult time with just about anything.

My dad and husband both liked the high-riding OWB holsters, the way Longtooth wears his.
This set-up provides good concealment, yet is still rather comfortable.

I ordered an M-11 IWB from brigade holsters 4 months ago. At the time I ordered it it had a lead time of 16 weeks and now the lead times are 28 weeks. I just hope it comes in soon as I am ready to try it out.
