So a work friend’s uncle died. ( and yes it’s really a friends uncle ) He inherited all the guns and ammo.
He flew to Florida to go through it all and get it home.
I cautioned him about following all the laws getting it home.
The AR 15 ammo ended up being shipped to the office.
I took a picture.
The ammo cartons were 24 inches square about 6 inches tall each. The delivery man stacked them in one big stack about 10 boxes 60 inches tall.
How many rounds is that?
10,000

Good that you cautioned him.
Forget about the ammo! What kind of guns did he bring back?
A number of AR’s and AK’s, he’s invited me to go shooting with he and his son. I need to take him up on it.
I think I was concerned his flight might have mechanical or weather problems and be diverted to NYC where he would arrested for being an army.

I’ve lost track of exactly how much ammo I have, and I need to do another inventory. I’m pretty sure that I have around 4000-5000 rounds of 5.56, maybe 2000 rounds of .308, 3000-4000 rounds of 9mm, 6000 rounds of .22 LR, 1600 rounds of 7.62x54R, about 900 rounds of 7.62x39, 400 rounds of 8mm Mauser, 200 rounds or less of 30 carbine, maybe 1000 rounds of .45 ACP, 250 rounds of .30/30, about 100 rounds of 45/70, around 350-400 rounds of 12 Gauge, a smaller amount of 20 Gauge, and around 100-150 rounds or less each in .38 Special, .357 magnum, .44 magnum, and .44 Special.
All I know is that I need more.
