Family is the poster child for "we make bad (liberal) choices".....plus dad's an undocumented abusive felon and shooters are LGBTQ, and another parent had already complained about the toxic environment at school (and the school responded with legal action?). Explains why suddenly Brady, Moms Demand, and the liberal media are all silent.....
If the kids really did walk out of the vigil chanting 'mental health' in response to the politicians highjacking the vigil for a photo op about gun control, I applaud them. Maybe there's hope for Colorado after all. Could it be that STEM stands for
Science,
Truth,
Engineering, and (doing the)
Math?

Shooter father serial felon illegal immigrant. Pervious gun charges.
Failure of socialist progressive policies abound in this incident, just like they did in Broward County, Florida.

How many children have to die at the hands of socialist progressives before their policies and agenda are rejected by huge majority of our citizens?

Many more. The progressives will never admit a mistake, no matter how high the body count because they never accept any facts about any of their failed policies. In addition, they have no tolerance for anyone who disagrees with them so they end up being political bullies who win by intimidation.

And they were anti Trump anti Christian as well.

I wonder why the case was sealed?

Is that normal or only when the criminal is liberal?

Transgender teen tried as an adult. Could receive 40 years in death of hero student who rushed the shooters to try and save lives. Other shooter who was 19 could receive the death penalty.

I would not surprise me to see "it" try to get the prison to pay for "it" surgery.

If he/she/it is transgender, they'll go easy on it. Because, afterall, these poor kids have a hard life, laws don't apply to them, right? They've suffered enough, let's pay them reparations and let them go. $0 bail too. C'mon, don't be heartless, have some compassion with a transgender terrorist killer.
Born a female. Presurgical transition period. Was bullied at school, had a very hard home life as her dad beat her mother. 19 year old was gay and was bullied at school. Apparently they were friends. I'll let you ponder the psyco-sexual attraction there.

Dang I used the wrong pronouns. Shame on me. I could be arrested in England for that.

The rest of the story (about the security guard). This is what I gleaned from several articles:

Security guard Shamson Sandara was former Marine with combat time and a former deputy sheriff working for a company that had a security contract with the school.

The contract forbid the security guards from having weapons, but Sandara carried his personal handgun anyway.

When the perpetrators started their spree, one student was killed and several wounded. The student killed, Kendrick Castillo, along with a couple other students, rushed and tackled one of the perpetrators at the cost of Castillo's life.

Sandara disarmed and detained the other perpetrator at gunpoint, using his own gun.

Sandara scanned the area and saw a man in civilian clothes pointing a handgun around a nearby corner. Sandara fired two shots at the man, which missed him but penetrated a wall behind him and striking two students on the other side of the wall with non-life-threatening injuries . Once law enforcement officers identified themselves Sandara cooperated with them.

A DA separate from the one handling the prosecution of the perpetrators investigated Sundara' actions and decided that he committed no crime by firing his weapon because of the ongoing deadly attack. However having the handgun was illegal, and in a "consultation" with the families of the wounded students, the school district, and law enforcement (and presumably Sandara's lawyer) Sandara will not be charged with a crime, but will have a "deferred action" that requires him to complete 50 hours of community service and a few other requirements, and upon successful conclusion the "deferred action" will be "closed."

The father of student killed while attacking one of the perpetrators praised Sandara as a hero. The head of the security company that Sandara worked for also praised him as a hero and promoted him to head of recruiting for the company. (Amazing, no under-the-bussing).
