Hunter is a dirtbag, no doubt. But all this hoopla about him and the 4473 could end up backfiring. WHEN HE BOUGHT THE GUN, was he an unlawful user of/or addicted to drugs? Maybe. Maybe not. Prove it. The question doesn't say "did you ever use" or even "were you ever addicted to", it says "are you, aka currently...when you filled out the form. So who adjudicates that? Heck if we go by the "12 stepper" definition of addict, anyone that ever drank, and then later decided it wasn't good for them and quit, is now permanently an alcoholic. Does the same go for users? If so then ,La Harris (VP) can never buy a gun. Lot's of people who ever used marijuana could never buy a gun. I never use illegal drugs, never had the desire to, because they were just that, illegal. I'm also afraid of them and what they might do to me. But I don't think every guy I ever saw smoke a joint in college is banned for life from buying a gun.
