Has anyone seen an example of where an individual called in to DPS and was told one thing regarding their application status and the website indicated something else? I am just curious as the website has not updated for me yet as BG is still "Under Review" but the "nice guy" that answered their call today did inform me that the BG was passed and I should have the plastic in 1-2 weeks.

They probably just haven't updated it yet.

Yeah, that happened to me too. I was told over the phone my BG check cleared and I would have my CHL in 1-2 weeks. The web site didn't update till the next day. Don't worry, you're moving.
As for me? No mail today

I imagine it happens quite a bit if people happen to call on the day something changes. It seems to be fairly clear that the website is updated in the mornings with what was entered into the computer from the day before.

My son checked for me, no chl but a order for my AR came in all the way from California in just 3 days. USPS is not very efficient or it really hasn't been mailed yet.

Mailed packet on 09/01. BG review for 3 weeks. I emailed Monday AM and politely asked if there was any add'l info they needed. Got a polite response that said my app couldn't be considered overdue until 11/01 and basically asked me to be patient. But...just checked this afternoon and BG check is completed and now I'm "manufacturing pending". Sweet! Just glad that there has been some movement!
