Congrats! My status should change to mailed tomorrow morning... I'm thinking that my license will probably be in the mail today though... I hope so!

Yeah... The CS reps at the DPS are useless. They really can't tell you any more than the website can. Here's what your going to get when you call:

Your information hasn't been entered into our database by data entry. It usually takes 2-3 weeks for your information to entered. Have a nice day!

I just called in today to ask a very specific question and the lady had no idea what I was even talking about. Her response was soooo scripted and not even relevant. The CS reps are there to give out generic answers to specific questions.

Yep. She said they are processing packets received on the 15th now. She told me to maybe wait until the end of the week and then resend the CHL100. She said they have everything except that and the photos. I guess that means that the fingerprints are just sent to them from FAST? Because I sent everything in 1 packet. This blows.

Sundays and Mondays are always the hardest.. since we know there are going to be zero updates... *sigh* Here is to hoping Newbs i in the Mail today and mine gets manufactured!

Yeah FAST is a goverment owned and operated program. The fingerprints actually go from FAST to the FBI. So they actually told you that your CHL100 is missing? How is that even possible if you sent it all in one packet??

My plastic will go out today and my status will change tomorrow. I hope that I get it by Thursday... that would be awesome!

Everything was mailed together. Maybe the FBI called Austin and cleared me? Everything was sent in one packet, like 5 documents or whatever. I don't know. I'm just going to resend the chl100 once my instructor answers my email, if he's not in Afghanistan already. Jeeez.

Wow, 28:41 on hold. I called about them receiveing the FAST and not the packet. They said the FAST is electronic and they don't need it in the packet. OK wow, a different lady just told me that they have the chl100, and that it's waiting on 2 things: the photos are waiting to be scanned and then final review. The website is not updated for my status. She said the background check came back clean on the 7th. That's a day after I mailed it btw. WTH is going on!! She said the site already updated today, so maybe it would show me something tomorrow. Great relief anyways! It just sucks I can't see it happening online. BUT I am happy they have it! Phhhewwwww, I thought I was back to square one. Very weird.
