Very sorry for him.
I hope this was not a case of elder abuse.
It is really hard to believe that he consciously ignored his doctor’s recommendations to treat his prostate cancer, in order to run for President in 2019. Then after winning he failed to have it treated while President.

Lots of interviews with specialists saying this was probably developing for many years and should have been caught. Even a decade or so ago PSA should have indicated a problem. And lots of interviews explaining how it could be missed.
And then there's this. Hormonal treatment for cancer can cause cognitive difficulties.
