And it's also why I think Strauss will let OC and Campus Carry pass....he's got other irons in the fire that he has to spend political capital on.

If I have my pistol on an IWB holster and my shirt blows up, will I be arrested for brandishing - or an OWB holster with my shirt covering it, will I be arrested for concealment? In other words, if my pistol is in a holster, can I wear or not wear any kind of clothes I choose? These damn laws are legal speak and don't make sense - you have to go to court to find out what you did opr didn't do. Maybe that's the plan, more attorney fees and court action??

There's nothing confusing or ambiguous at all. You can carry concealed in any way you like. If open-carry passes as in SB17/HB910, then you can still carry concealed in any way you like, or you can carry openly with a belt or shoulder holster.

What I'm still unsure of is what exactly is a "belt or shoulder holster" -- is there a definition (as don't recall seeing that)? My specific question would be whether a FOBUS paddle retention holster is a "belt" holster as it clips over my belt.

So what you are saying is that - You can carry your holstered gun anywhere and any way you want to carry it - concealed, open, in the belt, out of the belt, on your ankle, around your neck, around your thigh, around your chest, under your shirt, outside of your shirt, half outside of your shirt, 3'4 outside your shirt, half concealed, half open, anyway you prefer as long as it is holstered and not Mexican carry?

No, only "belt or shoulder" if open. No ankle carry.

If I am open carrying in the winter and my coat covers it but the end sticks out? Is that okay?? Or if I am concealed carry and my gun prints on my tee shirt?

Okay, here's the section below. Question: Is an inside the belt holster that is attached to the belt legally considered 'being carried in a belt holster'? In that case, only the butt of the gun would show.

Also: what does this mean? "Intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly carries"

(a) A license holder commits an offense if the license holder carries a handgun on or about the license holder's person under the authority of Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code, and intentionally displays the handgun in plain view of another person in a public place. It is an exception to the application of this subsection that the handgun was partially or wholly visible but was carried in a shoulder or belt holster by the license holder.
(b) A license holder commits an offense if the license holder intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly carries a handgun under the authority of Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code, regardless of whether the handgun is concealed or carried in a shoulder or belt holster, on or about the license holder's person:
