Well, I just sent all the information to the office of my State Representative.

Maybe they will be able to get straight answers. I hope so.

Still waiting for plastic!
Checked the site last night - "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active"!!

44 days from the day I got the pin number. Not too shabby... a lot better than I was expecting!

Now I'm just waiting on the mail...
Received permit in the mail last week :woohoo

Can't do anything about the "walk" though... I'm still in Iraq. Should be home in a couple of weeks... looking forward to hitting WallyWorld!!

I received this e-mail from the CHL office this morning in a reply to my inquiry last week:

"It looks like we are in the final stages of processing.

Please allow a little more time for completion."

My State Rep's office has not even acknowledged my e-mail. :headscratch

Cool! Yeah, I am at Dyess! Been stationed here twice now for a total of 12 years, and I had a one year tour in Korea awhile back. I'm also a born and raised Texan :txflag: , hence the main reason I've been at Dyess for so long.:

I did a year in Korea back in the 90's. were you at Osan?

I was at Camp Casey / Camp Hovey (94-95).

I got to "play" for a year at the Hump - Camp Humphrey's - Air Force 607 Combat Comm Squadron - (across town from Osan - on an Army post -

I didn't leave a single thing in Korea so there was NO reason to EVER go back. I didn't know STINK until I had to drive the back gate of Osan past the pig farm..in the summer!
