2 1/2 weeks and still no status online at all. I guess the person that has my app. is on vacation.

This was the worst part of my wait. Thinking that your application is still sitting in a pile in the mail room. Once I got status, everything seemed to move along nicely.

Man I hope I dont have to wait to much longer to get my CHL. I want to have one of those post where I say I received it in 35 days! lol

How long did it take for your fingerprints to be finished and background check once you did get an update?

It was about a week

Then it is sitting somewhere with my background check in that person's stack of work to eventually get to...I have that person as well.

I'm in about the same boat as you. Unfortunately that background check may take a while...when i had to list military...then the various places i was stationed/lived during this time. Thats one background check that wont be fun to do!

It took me about 3 1/2 weeks to get status. I wouldn't worry, I bet it pops up this week.

The worst part is not being sure that the application is moving a long at all. My status showed up last week and, today, there was something in the snail mail. My heart sunk because I figured it was letting me know about a problem with my fingerprints. Nope, it was just a confirmation that they had received the application. I've been reading the other post about having them taken at L1 and regretting my decision not to do that.

I've been afraid that the application will get aged about 3 weeks and THEN I'll find out about a problem with it. I've never had any concerns at all about a BGC but the rest of it could easily be open to issues.

Fingerprint Complete: July 18th
Now just waiting on Background Check and Issuance of the License.

It is interesting to see they do posts on Saturday night because the fingerprint was still pending on Saturday and didn't show up until Sunday morning.

I hope so. Its frustrating when other people get an online update within 2 weeks and here I am going on 3.
