Today is day 50. I mailed the app on 3/28, but I don't know when they received it, so I'm going with April 1 to make the math easy. However, that's another story which concerns another fine nameless goverment institution.

Birthday next week. What are the odds I will see the plastic by then? Not good? Well, if not I maybe get a 4 year 9 month license...

but i do know lots of music from the 70s

Heck...I'm 47 and I'm not old enough to remember that song...LOL. Maybe my mom will remember it.

I called this morning and spoke to Chris. I was told that my plastic was in the review stage before its mailed out. That sounds to me like its lost in a pile on someones desk. 90 days today and 103 since it was mailed.

Hi, ya'll. I filled out the CHL application on-line around April the 3rd and it took about a week to arrive, then I took the CHL test on Saturday April 26th., sent in my application on Monday April 28th (certified with signature confirmation) and DPS received it on April 29th. I am coming up on 30 days and no PIN as of yet. From what I have read here it looks like I am in for a very long wait..... I do appreciate this forum very much and I have learned a lot from reading all of the post.

what you said is an understatement bro it takes forever i finaly got my status changed at day 80 but no plactic in hand yet

In an email correspondence I received from the State, I was informed that the status page is not indicative of the actual status of my application. Specifically, in my case, the fact that I did not have a pin does not mean they aren't working on my application. In other cases I have read here on this forum, folks go from mailed packet to approved in a few day period. I doubt that they are updating that status page(for all applications) on a regular basis.

I'm feeling a little better. I hope to have plastic in hand in less than 90 days.

Day 79 today. No status change. Still says "Packet mailed".

Plastic received!!!!!!
