Announcers Troy Aikman and Joe Buck caught on hot mike trashing the Air Force fly over on Monday Night Football.
If you need another reason not to watch professional sports.

Concerning Troy Aikman, I have a story; I was coming home on leave from deployment and struggling with my duffel bag trying to get to my flight. At that time, we had to wear the uniform flying from overseas. A Sky Hop/Bell Hop or whatever driving the golf carts in the DFW Airport, stopped next to me and asked me if I needed a ride. Troy Aikman was yelling at him to not pick me up and the Driver told him that couldn't he see I was a Soldier? Troy Aikman stated that he didn't care and to not pick me up. Too that drivers credit he told me to throw my bags on and sit in the back and after he delivered Troy Aikman, he would bring me to my flight. Troy Aikman sat there sulking and mumbling. So, to good ole' Troy Aikman, I don't have any love for him and I do tell folks this story as often as I can. Even today, I get a bit hot thinking about that stuck up individual.

Totally believable.
Fixed it for you.

From the linked article:
I love football, I really do, but moments like these make me question whether or not I should give the sport even another second of my time. - RYAN LEDENDECKER
This writer succinctly (and unknowingly) illustrates how millions of people are disgusted by the NFL, yet continue to love it more than standing up to the socialists destroying the country.
On the plus side, Ryan it’s about time you pulled your head out of the sand. How many more slaps to your face will it take for you to realize loving sports/teams/players is an unrequited love, a one way street?

Pandering, pure and simple.

It would be an honor if the Braves, Indians, or Chiefs changed their name to the Philip964’s. To me these names were given as an honor and these were men of great power and respect which they hoped would transfer to their team.
If this keeps up, in 50 years most Americans will not know or care about the traditions, names and customs of the First Americans.

I'm not a football fan or any ball sport, I find the whole thing hugely over blown, the only Dallas Cowboy I actually knew was Larry Cole, he was a really nice guy and funny thing is when I was in his house we talked about hunting! The only Baseball player I ever met was Jose Conseco and he was a first class Jerk! I've never seen a football game on TV all the way through, but now as these over paid people are dishonoring the Country that allowed them to have so much success, they are even less of a human than what I thought of them before!

That is also the way I see it. They picked something powerful to represent their teams. They want to be able to fight like a warrior on the field. IT is not disrespectful.

I saw Aikman one time - at a summer training camp in Austin, Texas. They had finished a scrimmage and were riding golf carts back to the locker rooms (can't walk, I guess). They had all thrown their teeth protectors (those big soft things they hold between their teeth) into a plastic bucket. As Aikman's cart passed the crowd, he threw the protectors into the stands, where fans hysterically grabbed at them like they were gold. Eweee.
Did you see how some of the black players behaved during the national anthem? Looking at the ground, laughing and joking with each other, etc., completely ignoring the anthem performance. I guess if they can't kneel, they can do something else that says the same thing.
I didn't watch the bowl, I just saw this on a YouTube video. Heck, I don't even know (or care) who played.

Was there a Stupor Bowl this year? Who won?
