Checked Texas Online for fun this morning and noticed I have updated to "manufacturing pending." The BGC is finally done! 50 days from receipt to manufacturing pending status. It is looking like it will be a 60 day turnaround from start to finish for me.

Very nice to see that BGC check green this AM.

I'm in about the same boat as you. Unfortunately that background check may take a while...when i had to list military...then the various places i was stationed/lived during this time. Thats one background check that wont be fun to do!

Here I am, I lay in wait, for a status from the state. Background pending, so are prints, is this just coincidence? My friends all packin, it took no time, one of which actually had some crimes. Here I'll stay untill status green... man... Austin can be so MEAN!! -me

I was really worried that it would be a drawn out process, but the processing time is moving pretty fast. I am impressed!

I hope DPS doesn't run out of plastic by the time my application is done. Congradulations to everyone fixin to Wally Walk.

The renewal plastic came yesterday so that's 21 days from the DPS receipt of my package, to the deliverable on hand.

Online is the only way to do it.
