Hey guys, new to the board although been lurking here for some time.

Here is my report out:

Initial APP on line 2/10/16
LTC Class 2/13/16
CHL Class Certificate Submitted 02/14/2016
Fingerprinted 2/17/16, submitted to DPS 2/19/2016
Email from DPS stated approved and going to printing 4/03/2016
Plastic in hand - TBD

As of right now that only like 43 days since everything was received by DPS to process the app. Seems to be quite quicker than the dates I am seeing on here.

That is only 35 business days so far. Email says plastic should be in hand within 7 to 14 days.

This all seems pretty quick. The pace seems to be getting a lot faster.

They emailed you on a Sunday?

Yes sir, I received the email today about 10:20 in the morning. I am sure it was a computer program generated response instead of an individual personally emailing me.

well, OK. Then i don't feel bad emailing THEM today. Its not like they are going to respond anyway... Whether I email today, or during business hours.

Agree. Especially when folks who were all in weeks after us and are already getting plastic. Don't get me wrong, I'm not mad at people who are getting plastic faster than us, but mad at the system as there appears to be no rhyme or reason why some of us get their plastic faster than others.

Frustrating......

Agree. If there were just the smallest bit of transparency in the system it would be easier to take. If I knew where I was in the process and the approximate time to get to/through the next step, that would help.

At least I'm having a good time hanging out in the Waiting Room with all y'all.

Not sure why the email took so long to get. I called after 7 days because I expected the email in 2 days like I had heard. They confirmed they had everything. I hope its no Indication of the wait. So now I wait!!

4/2 Well still nothing. One call a few weeks ago I was told I was through background and just waiting for someone to match up my paper work which he confirmed they have had since 1/13.

I have the same confirmation date and the same story from RSD... Through background and just waiting for "data input and printing..."

I'm right on the same dates as you guys. I did get a call on 3/30 from an RSD sup that told me that mine was being finalized up and gonna be sent to print later that day.... However, here I sit. NO CHANGE, NO PLASTIC.

Hopefully we'll all get them this coming week. That be nice, but I'll believe it when I see it.

I also have the same dates. I gave up calling because I wasn't getting any useful infoinfo, just the 12 week message.

I have a clean record and worked at the same job for 10 years now so it is frustrating watching Feb applicants get plastic.

My wife and I took our LTC handgun class at the same time.

I received a letter on the 02/04/2016 that they needed more info on a arrest. It was a back in 1983. I went to the courthouse and paid for copies of the arrest and court doc. They wanted a written letter and a police report. So I supplied everything I could find and wrote the letter. My plastic was here on 03/21/2016

Prologue: 1/11 all in, 4/2 status change.

So on Saturday, I received the heralded UPDATED STATUS on the website (with options to change address, report it stolen, etc.). Since I had moved in the interim period of time (sorry my life can't be put on hold while DPS takes its sweet time), I submitted a change of address form on the website and paid the fee. I got an email receipt for that, and a confirmation that "my checklist contains no required supporting document items." Which is good...I think (that's ambiguous wording).

So after two days where the website is unavailable (48 hours after that address update), my page has gone BACK to the original status (no options for address, etc.).

Has anyone else seen this phenomenon? WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
