Thank you! Went this AM at 10-ish and they still had 50+ of the 525 packs and probably a hundred of the 325 packs. Still a "one per" limit.

Thanks Beiruty,
Ordered on Saturday and got it Wednesday. The invoice actually had the ammo at $199.99 and shipping at $20, but $219.99 is a great price.

Stopped at the brand new Academy in Pearland for their Grand Opening and they had all the .22 rimfire ammo out on an end cap (end of a gondola). No limit. The best part is when you walk in they are handing out $10 off $50 and up purchases coupon. Bought three Federal 525 pk @ $22.99 ea and used the coupon. I was impressed with their long gun display including many black rifles. They had the longest display of pistols and revolvers I've ever at an Academy.

Thanks for the tip! I went and bought three 525 boxes of Remington for $28.99 each.

They had plenty of ammo, as puma guy said, out on an end cap.
I have used Remington 22LR for many years and haven't had any issues with it in any of my pistols. It feels great to be stocked up again.

Bump I went by the new Academy in Pearland this afternoon and they still have plenty of 22LR ammo - Remington, Federal and Winchester.

Wen to Wal Mart tonight and checked out the ammo section. 3 boxes of Perfecta .270 marked at $11 each which is a great price but it actually rang up at $7 each. I'm going to go check out some other stores in the area tomorrow

I would consider tulaammo more for plinking and hoarding. It is dirty and cheap, steelcase and bi-metal. This means it will run but will require more cleaning/maintenance the more you shoot.
I never had a problem with reliability or overall functionality but I stopped buying steelcase ammo.

Thats what I was thinking, more for plinking and hoarding, not for competition.
I always clean my guns after shooting so no problem there. More concerned about reliability with cheap ammo.
