Harris county here, no luck yet. Planning to call or email at some point....

Crawl, are you kidding? Why call? Have you been reading any of the posts on this forum? It took 106 days for my application to be completed and I'm not even in Harris County. No point in calling. Be patient, my friend. You mailed your stuff quite a bit after I did.

I was actually surprised not to see the envelope in the mail today. Only 1.5 hours away from Austin, and I was approved and completed on Friday. Maybe tomorrow? Let me know when you get yours as I see we were done on the same day.

I bet yours will be there tomorrow. I was expecting to tomorrow, but was pleasantly surprised today.

I live in Dallas County, so we will see when I get it!

Calling your State Rep will help. My online status still shows "processing application". I asked my state representative's office to inquire for me and got word today that my license is currently being printed. 92 days from date that DPS received my application.



Now I just have to wait on the USPS. From one government agency to another.

First time posting.... Getting really anxious.

Been waiting since i mailed my packet off on 3/16/09.
I forgot to sign one of my forms, and had to resubmit my packet (my fault :()

As of today (6/23) it is my 105th day.... come on chl!!

101 days from the day they got the packet.

03/10/09 -- CHL Class Taken
03/14/09 -- Packet mailed to DPS
03/16/09 -- Packet Received by DPS
03/20/09 -- Check cashed by DPS
04/28/09 -- PIN received
06/19/09 -- Application Complete
06/23/09 -- Plastic in hand!

I just have to comment here, been following the updates for a while. I'm glad to see so many getting their plastic but I seriously wonder what in the world they are doing with my packet? I submitted to DPS on March 17th and tracked it. DPS received it March 19th. On April 29th they rejected my finger print cards for the FBI. Annoying yes but I redid them and sent them back within the week (again delivery confirmation). One month later on May 29th they rejected my Texas print cards. Now Im no rocket scientist but....they were in the same packet! Why take another month to look at the other set??!! Of course I sent them back within the week and here I sit and wait, 96 days in. I understand busy but these events seem more like stalling or disorganization to me! I did write them to see what in the heck is going on, so far no response. Some day I will be able to carry.
