Got my plastic today!!!!



I'm going to skip the wally walk because I have to speak in front of 40+ people tonight. Should be an interesting first carry.

They used my passport photo....

What do you mean they used your passport photo? The CHL class I took, took our pics for us and we had to mail those.

Also they used my passport photo I mailed in my my DL photo

What do you mean they used your passport photo? The CHL class I took, took our pics for us and we had to mail those.

it actually goes one of several different ways because they just (within the past 4 months) changed the law. 1. you can mail a set of passport photos and have them use those. 2. Some CHL classes will take the pictures for you and you can just send those. or the new law allows 3. On the photo placeholder form, you can write "use current drivers license photo" and they will...they'll accept that as your photo now.

Glad they took my pictures at the chl class....my DL and passport pics are horrible!

Lol no... but we did discuss politics. I don't think anyone noticed my CC piece. I didn't get arrested... that's always good.

I just want to thank every member of this forum and especially those who have been a part of this thread for all of your support. Looking back, the wait wasn't too bad. However, it would have seemed longer without all of the wonderful fellowship that I have enjoyed over the last 30+ days.

Just remember newb, that CHL you just got - you didn't do that....somebody else made that happen.
