Back gound Check finally complete, almost there

1/22/2013 - Application : Received
1/22/2013 - Fingerprints : Complete
1/22/2013 - Affidavits : Received
1/22/2013 - DL or ID : Valid
1/22/2013 - Citizenship : No documentation required
1/22/2013 - Passport photo holder : Received
1/22/2013 - Photo : Received
1/22/2013 - Proof of Classroom training : Received
1/22/2013 - Proof of Proficiency training : Received
1/22/2013 - Proof of Special Condition : Received
1/22/2013 - Fee : Received
3/1/2013 - Background Check Complete : Manufacuring Pending

Hey all, new here to the forum and here's my timeline:

1/4/2013 - Completed/submitted online app
1/26/2013 - Completed fingerprints
1/27/2013 - Completed CHL Class
1/28/2013 - Mailed CHL packet certified mail
1/31/2013 - DPS signed for CHL packet
1/28 to 2/18/2013 - DPS status shows they are waiting for application packet
2/19/2013 - DPS status changed to Application received and Background Check: Under Review

The status hasn't changed since the 19th. Also, I've never done this before so I'm not sure if this is normal but everything on the status page is green with a check mark except the "Application: Received", "Background Check: Under Review" and "Concealed Handgun License: Print pending completion of application review". These sections are yellow with an exclamation point in a yellow triangle.

Is it normal for the "Application: Received" line to be yellow with the triangle??? Is it this way since the application isn't yet complete?

Everything is normal/consistent with my experience

Should not be long now. Status changed between 10:00 pm yesterday and 10:00 am today.
Hopefully soon I can quit checking the DPS site so much.


Jan. 23 - Class Taken & Fingerprints
Jan. 24 - Mailed all documents
Jan. 25 - Received by DPS
Jan. 29 - Emailed documents after seeing here that it was an option.
Feb. 6 - Received email confirmation that documents were received."We have received the documents you attached to your email.
These will be forwarded to a specialist for review and/or processing.
Feb. 12 - Background Check Under Review
March 3 - Background Check Complete, Manufacturing Pending

Finally completed background check! Yeah!!!!!!!! Now in manufacturing.

DPS must have done their "mass update" in the system this morning. At 2:00 AM (couldn't sleep, so why not check status AGAIN) I was still BG Under Review. At 10:00 AM, I am Manufacturing Pending, like the two posters previous in this thread.

12/23 - Online Application
12/28 - Fingerprinting
1/12 - CHL Class
1/17 - Documents snail mailed
2/6 - Status to Background Under Review
3/3 - Manufacturing pending!

Everything completed and sent in 1/25/2013,
Received 1/26/2013.

Status on TXDPS site today: Everything green except awaiting background check and manufacturing.

Mine came in the mail today. Sent off about jan 16 I think.

Moved to Manufacturing today.

Manufacturing !!!! Maybe next week

So, it looks like we will be getting plastic next week. Problem is, I have to go out of town next week on business.
