Good grief, this looks very strange; how did you have the fingerprinting done? I used MorphoTrustUSA for FAST in Austin on 10/24, and the personal check I wrote cleared the very next day.

completed all paperwork and mailed 10/24
delivery confirmed 10/25

Day 58 and Still waiting for any change in status from "Waiting for receipt of required materials"

They received mine October 28th and I'm still waiting also

I just called and the answering machine said they are closed for the Holliday. So I would suspect there will be no updates for anyone until either after Christmas or maybe the New Years.

Mailed mine same day Ladylightening and nothing yet !

I also used MorphoTrustUSA for FAST in Austin. A lot of posters said it took a very long time for their check to clear.

Did some digging around & it looks like they may be back Friday.

I think this is right. I sent them ONE EMAIL asking which of the "requested materials" they were waiting on (just to reassure myself I'd not missed anything) and after a full week I got an email saying my request was forwarded to someone who'd look into it!

This of course was over a month ago i.e. they didn't have the courtesy to respond in any meaningful way. I mean, why don't they just have an automated bounce-back telling the truth, if the truth is "We're sorry but at this time our department is overwhelmed with work; if no updates have occurred after xxx days please contact us again, or call xxx-xxx-xxxx" or whatever.

I did also try calling them a few times and you can't get thru by phone!?!!

Based on your timeline, it's very normal for you not to see a status update yet. You're wasting your time calling/emailing. They can't send something saying they're swamped cause of politics. Trust me you're too early & won't see a status update until Jan. They're entering stuff from 1st/2nd week of October. Your email is a canned response, you don't skip ahead of mailed in apps (usually), they file you docs with the mailed ones.. Basically, I would relax & Mark your calendar to call them mid-Jan.

I did the prints on 10/14 and they received my forms on 10/17, I did get a "background/print under review update" after 58 days but saw that some people that applied in september just received their plastic after 87-89 days. I'm done checking for status updates, it will get here when it gets here and from the looks of it , mid january sounds like a realistic deadline. Merry Christmas.

I can relate to the stress you guys are going through. Be patient though. I know that is easier said than done. It will get there.
