Means it won't be added to the current bill for eventual consideration.

Or in pretty words, 'a motion to table is used to kill a motion without debate or a vote on the merits of the resolution.'

What I just heard amendment 8 say is that people in large city's can't be trusted because they are too diverse? I think that has some racial undertones.

What's the time limit for considering amendments? And time limit for debate over the bill once they've stopped considering amendments?

Exactly. You can go in/out/in/out of the city of Dallas a dozen times in 15 minutes of driving.

I never know what city I am in when I am in DFW.

Stickland causes me to want to spit.

Unless Arizona has changed since I lived there, he is incorrect.

I have never lived in Arizona but I always thought it was a state. Am I wrong?

It's kind of like the time Mike Tyson was asked what he will when he retired. His response was "I'll probably settle down somewhere in the outskirts of Illinois".
It's been awhile but cities had some ability to limit unlicensed carry in certain places but not an entire city. They could not with licensed carry.

Same for the mid-cities. It would be an absolute disaster if that passed.

I just drove about 6 miles, went through Irving once, Grand Prairie once, Dallas 3 times, and Farmers Branch once. Talk about a nightmare.
