Hydroelectric is pretty much tapped out. So in ten years we have to replace 98% of our energy useage assuming no growth in power useage.

And that’s just the energy part.

It's not the amount of money...it's the control they want when every available dollar is spent on pie in the sky projects/programs and the economy collapse makes the great depression seem like an unlimited free buffet at the best steakhouse. Once they are in total control, the socialists wielding the power will have little concern for the commoners aka deplorables who are starving in their cold, dark public housing slums.

Well, the off switch for your home, your office, your LGS. Their homes and offices are "essential" and will get waivers or ration cards or whatever mechanism they use to enforce their "lights for me but not for thee" policies.
