Although ... mine arrived in the mail 6 days after the "Mailed" update appeared. Since your "Mailed" update appeared on 6/13, if it follows the same schedule as mine, it might not arrive till Wednesday.

But I'm hoping you get it tomorrow!

Wife got her CHL today, both showed mailed on 6/13/13, so figuring mine will show up tomorrow. Her's was post dated the 14th.

5/6/13 - Mailed everything regular USPS mail
6/3/13 - Just now checking status for first time since mailing - currently shows waiting BG check, all other items above are green.
6/11/13 - Manufacturing
6/13/13 - Mailed
6/17/13 - Wife got hers, mine probably 18th.

Got my CHL today! The wife went with me to do my break-in Wally walk already.

I checked the status this morning at 08:30 - Status was manufacturing.

I just checked my status at 10:40 It has updated to MAILED...

It does pay to check your status more than once a day after you enter the BG review.

I think I am the last person in this (April) thread to get to the mailed status. I will be away from home for the next 3 weeks. I had my license originally and let it expire in 2001. I will not let it lapse again.

I'll update my original post.

No, unfortunately, you are not.

Mailed 4/22, still in "BG under review".

When did you go to BG review?

From the looks of things in this thread it can last from anywhere from 3-5 weeks. Mine was exactly 5 weeks from 4/10. Mine is a little different since I had a DA to contend with.

If DPS has had your paperwork (received) for 60 days, I'd give them a call. I did and my status changed within 2 days to BG completed. It may have been coincidence or they may have forgotten to update my status.

Give it a try and see what happens. I was told it could take an extra month due to the DA but it updated to complete 48 hours later.

Apparently I don't have much of a background, because my status updated to mailed today!!!

mine was supposedly mailed on the 12th... still nothing in the mail.


maybe today will be the day!

so that's 6 mail days... when do i start worrying?

42 Days for the Wife (mailbox to mailbox)
44 Days for Mine (mailbox to mailbox)

Need to buy some drywall tonight, so may be doing a Lowes trip instead of a Wally Walk.
