I don't think so, while it can be tiring, these are important issues to constituents of various communities. One ongoing theme is kids coming from various areas, which is great exposure for kids to government. So, setting aside frustration with getting on with it, I recognize the importance to the individuals, groups and communities represented.

They're still getting started. SB17 hasn't come up yet. Doing other business.

So I thought they would start on voting on SB17 out of the senate, but they are voting out a bill for commemoritive highways...

Thanks! Wish that there was an easy way to know when something in particular was coming up. On a positive note, at least we're not having to listen to antis while they're busy passing memorial highways designations.

Priorities, man....priorities! We haven't named enough things after George W. Bush yet....

It is very worthwhile to honor those fallen officers who lost their lives in the line of duty. So they are never forgotten. Officer Jessica Hollis died just a mile or two from where I live.

I imagine they get all of this noncontroversial stuff out of the way early so that they can get down to wrangling out the stuff that needs it.

It's on the intent calendar. There was a motion for bill readings & referrals the end of today's session. But it shouldn't be long, and most of the things on the intent calendar have been handled.
