Sorry you outed yourself as Pasadena's pogie bait, eh? Boot camp is eight weeks, not six months. You got a DD214 or not? Now quit trolling. Just stick to the subject.
A few posts back you said you were done here.
I sure did say that, but since you and SS decided to reply in continuance, here I am again. I'm prepared to end the dialog as long as you quit calling on me to answer. But you can't resist can you? Especially if you think I am not here so that it looks to the others like you have the last victorious word. Surprise, this is a discussion board. There is no victor.

The place is soooooo different from when I grew up there. Born & raised. An example of change : (1) We used to ride horses in Orange County, I mean like between the rows of trees in the orange groves. Now it's all built up and they have TV shows about Orange County Housewives. (2) We used to call it "fog" when I was a kid, now they call it "the marine layer." How friggin' snobby can you get? (3) We used to go hunting up north of L.A., now it's all built up. (4) When I lived in L.A. proper we could go dirt-biking up in the Hollywood Hills, now banned of course. (5) Not only that, you could hike up to the hills and look over the back and see cows grazing down in the San Fernando Valley. (6) Nobody hung out at Venice Beach. It was always empty, now full of wackos. "Muscle Beach" was actually next to the Santa Monica Beach pier, not at Venice Beach. Anyhow, I'll be in the Santa Barbara area, and that place is really different now too. They went all Beverly Hills like.
Worst thing I noticed out there is not just the Leftiness of the place, but the deep anger that seems to be festering in people. Not the laid back and open place of my youth.
And you call me pogie bait?

Sounds like you have some real life experience living on the mean streets. I Guess you forgot posting about living the tough life a few years back. Were your long flowing locks just a blowing in the breeze? bawahahahaha. This is greatness.
Just curious.... Seeing as how you were riding horses and living it up in Kali, what would you know about Pasadena Texas in the early seventies? LOL.

Absolutely nothing.
Not much. Truth is, the thread has about run its coarse. The ole dead horse has been beatin so many times it appears there is very little to do other than feed the trolls at this point.
The story is done. A thug is dead. Thank god he was taken care of before he could harm anyone else. The hero suffered for helping society. All is well again in the world.
Maybe it is time to lock her up.
But we're sooooo close to 200 pages...

You 2 guys stop your arguing now or take it to PM.
It is not about you as much as others may have a proper post they want to offer but wont get in the standing argument.
You were cautioned a page back by Crossfire, Keith so quit worrying who gets the last word or the Mods will.

200 - 200 go, go.
We still have left to go on this thread:
Federal Civil Rights arrest.
Civil lawsuits by both sides. How many will he file? Will Nancy Grace be included?
Z book deal.
Dee Dee's tell all book.
Moving to Arizona or Texas
Never getting his gun back.
Z being seen in public for first time saving someone.
Z's first fox news interview.

I know it won't be written in cursive. The question is, will it be written in "mumble"?

What is surprising has been the reaction to the shooting. It appears that the majority of the public and the newsmedia believes that a CHL is only to fire his gun, if the other person is armed and he is in fear of his life.
After this incident, I cannot imagine a CHL firing their gun in any situation out side of their home and not being initially arrested, especially if they are Caucasian and the person shot at is any other race.
He has been a lightning rod for the CHL community. We have all learned from his mistakes. It will cause us to hesitate in the future, only time will tell if that will work in our favor.
Imagine the outrage today, if Z had fired twice? What would be the reaction if TM was an honor student and was really college bound?
One of the problems on this forum that I see is that there are those that are naive enough to believe that all they have to do is somehow not do the things Zimmerman did "wrong", and they'll be OK if something similar were to happen to them.
Wrong wrong wrong. This is a case that the police, and the DA, looked at, and said "he was defending himself" and didn't charge. A politically ambitious DA then decided to pursue an innocent man, who was in fact defending himself, because of her agenda. No grand jury, no real evidence of a crime, but she pursued the case.
If anyone believes as they smugly sit back and say "he's disgraced other CHL holders, that would never happen to me", don't kid yourselves. All it will ever take is a politically ambitious prosecutor, and
you can be George Zimmerman.
Instead of second-guessing what the evidence clearly shows, and making up scenarios that somehow make Zimmerman the bad guy, we (CHL holders) should be stating over and over again,
We will defend ourselves. Don't attack us, and you won't even know we're carrying.
Attack us, and you risk your life.
Absolutely correct, and if the politics demand it, you can be trashed the same way in virtually ANY self-defense situation, including inside your own home. Here, BTW, is a case where the shooter was black and the teen white.....first I've heard of it was this morning:

No worries, at least you are trying to put some facts into this thread..
The Trolls are heavy in this thread now.. they post to incite emotional responses, and when they get nothing but factual intelligent responses, they counter with nonsense.
There is little meaningful discussion here at this point, just trolls trolling and others feeding them.

And every time intelligent discussion starts up again, the trolls step in to derail.
Enjoy if you're into it...I'll just have to sit this one out and watch the trainwreck.

I wonder how many people will say that Z should have stayed in his truck and called police.

I expect two lines of reporting from the noisy ones:
1. The accident was staged so Zimmerman could get some good press.
2. Zimmerman probably caused the wreck, but since the victim isn't talking, we'll never know for sure.

Here's another link:

It includes the statement:
No word yet on if Zimmerman dialed 911 a bunch of times before taking action.
