In this case he Brandished or pointed it at someone at the very least he was breaking the law because of that and being under age in possession of a hand gun.

He may or may not have lawfully possesed the handgun, you have not established any law yet that makes it unlawful for a 15 year old to have possession of it.

And we don't know for a fact if the kid didn't have a justification for pulling it. Remember, the news seldom gets it right. (not defending the kid, just pointing out a few things)

Was the kid legal to have the gun I think not, you think what ever you want makes no difference to me.

There are no state laws prohibiting a minor from possessing firearms, including handguns and semiautomatic assault weapons. Minors do not even need parental permission to be in possession of a firearm.
No selling or giving firearms to minors under 18, unless for supervised loans of firearms or for limited lawful activities, such as hunting.

A minor who owns or is in control of a motor vehicle and all the etceteras can have a concealed handgun in the vehicle, as can an adult.

100% speculation, but I'm betting the guy told the banger off for cutting him off, banger curses him and brandishes, 30 year old opens fire.
No 15 year old decent/good kid is driving on a "restricted drivers license" and carrying. Besides, since he is carrying I'll bet he has no drivers license.

Not sure how it will turn out, but I am sorry for his parents. I'm not one to mourn the death of bangers however if it turns out that way. I guess we will see.

How is a teenager driving a vehicle that can cause mayhem different from the same teenager having a firearm that can cause mayhem?

I though minimum age for drivers license was 16 for the state of Texas, unless you had a hardship license?

Yep. And hardship licenses generally have some restrictions on them. Like they can only drive to and from school etc. And I don't think the 15 year old was on his way to school at 3:45AM
