ok i get i carries in alska for a few months since they have no law against it
so im somewhat firmiliar with what i need to do to keep it from being seen

The only word of caution I can give is to just make sure what you intend to leave behind "stays", and what you intend to take with you stays with you...

Some of you may remember I found a G22 abandoned in a Kroger stall years ago during my PDO days...Almost had a freebee there, but I did the right thing and found the owner (neighbor of mine) through the police...

I'm a big guy too (although I'm working on that!). No problems on comfort whatsoever. It is as if the weapon wasn't there. The draw is very fast too (even with my gut in the way). The only real problem is when wearing a seat belt in a car. In which case I currently use a fanny pack, but will soon be switching to an alternate method of in-car carry.

You guys have obviously experienced some great Maryland Club Moments. But after three pages. I'm beginning to think anybody with a concealed handgun must really be full of it.

Yet, it's something we all encounter and must deal with.

I was 17 the first time I fired a rifle, and 21 when I first carried a pistol. I had to do some plainclothes missions in an unfriendly foreign nation, which is what led to me carrying the pistol. I borrowed a friend's M9, but when he handed it to be, I had no clue how to get the slide forward. I was a pretty bad rookie when it came to pistols. So, after a quick class and a trip to the range, here I am wandering around a foreign city in civvies, carrying my pistol, and after eating at one of the local restaurants, it became necessary for me to hightail it to the men's room. Fortunately we were in an upscale part of town so they had real toilet stalls next to the squat toilets. It is important for me to mention I was wearing some variety of Blackhawk paddle holster. When I undid my belt, the weight of the pistol pulled the belt free of the loops, and I ended up bobbling it back and forth until I finally managed to secure it between the toilet seat, my right hand, and the back of my leg. If my piece had hit the floor I would have been in a world of hurt, not having a passport, communications, or any paperwork actually authorizing me to be wandering around the country with a weapon.

I also had the buddy that dropped his surefire in a porta-john. That's and expensive flashlight, so he did what anybody would, and pulled it out of the cesspool, took it to the bathroom, and proceeded to clean it thoroughly. It was a constant struggle for him to not hold it in his mouth.

Well, since it was brought up,I'll tell ya'll what happened to me about a Month ago, went to Eat Mexican Food, it wasn't long before I felt and heard that familiar lower stomach Bubbling flushing sound, Oh yeah!!!! Know what that means, so I found the Handicapped stall open, Yes!!, Latched the door shut, took my glock 19 off, didn't want it hanging down to the floor, so I started looking for a place to set it, no railing, the toilet paper holder box was round, so I laid it ontop my legs as I sat there donating my share to the sewer system, all the sudden, this kid comes walking up to the stall and start yanking on the locked door, you'd figure if it didn't open, that meant it was locked, I told this kid "I'm in here, go away", he kept pulling on the door, the Latch fell off to the floor, the door opened, I tried to hide the weapon, no Luck, this kids eyes went wide and he took off running, All I kept saying was, "Oh Crap, Oh Crap", when I moved, my Glock fell off into the Camode, I fished it out of all the "stuff", couldn't wash it off at the sinks, so I flushed the camode, and used that water to wash the weapon, washed the Mag, then pulled the slide back and run water thru the barrel,I really hated doing that, but didn't see a choice, that camode was really crappy, dried it all off and strapped it back on, I finished eating, didn't say a word, didn't see that kid either. I got home quick and tore down that Glock, cleaned it good, and oiled it good to.
