I don't know if it will help you with your model, but on the G30 magazines there are two versions, one with a thin bottom plate (really only holds 9 rounds) one with a thick bottom that easily holds the nominal 10 rounds.
I use the thick ones with no trouble so maybe is it something else, perhaps you holster. Mine sits almost straight up, with a little bit of forward to make it snuggle.

The Glock 19 was my first gun of any kind and I still have it. It's now my "car gun." I also have a Glock 22 that sits in a Gun Vault by my bed.
The G19 is a good, solid weapon and will never let you down. I recently bought a Bianchi holster for it and, when I get my CHL eventually, it will be my carry weapon.

Glocks are great guns and the 19 is maybe the most efficient carry gun of all time. Right size, accurate, good capacicity, light, hides well, etc.
Another thing I like is they are as easy or easier to completely detail strip/reassemble than a 1911 and there are a lot of aftermarket parts if you find you want to change the trigger pull or slide release, mag release, etc.
They also have a reputation for being the most relaible handguns in existance.
