I honestly can't think of anything to post about any of this, exept regarding the intent of the original post.
It's amazing how close minded some folks can be about their choices. I would have been laughing myself silly as I left the store.

I don't think it is amazing or closed minded. All it takes is for a guy to get a bad gun from any manufacturer and poof...that manufacturer becomes the spawn of Satan to that gun owner. Take Ruger for instance. I had a lemon LCP that Ruger could not get right. Three trips back to Ruger and that was it. Sold it. Then my future son in law buys the SR9...and that thing is garbage too. I am officially broke of the habit of buying Ruger. They are junk in my opinion. Now 650 other guys can come on here and tell me what great luck they had with their Rugers...it won't matter because I hate them...LOL. I love my Kahr but I bet there are guys who dislike that manufacturer. Every one of us are influenced by our own experiences. My guess would be that this is why there are so many different flavors of guns and holsters. He just had a different opinion than your own. I don't know that this makes him stupid or anything. Who knows...maybe he was smarter than you think. Maybe he was trying to give you a hint without just flat out insulting you. I find it odd that he picked your hand gun as the one to point out as bad for concealing. It is possible, I suppose, but sure seems like a real big coincidence.
I think he was a cagey old man and he outed you.

It seems some folks that have CHLs consider themselves instant gun experts. I carry Glock, H & K or a Sig Pro. No concealment issues with any of them. Especially the P7, it conceals really well when you have to dress light. I have carried concealed for over 25 years, it all depends on how creative you can get at times!

LOL, I carry a XD or a Glock. Never been called out on either...at least by a Butcher.

I'm sure that's what he meant. Haven't you ever cooked beans and ham glocks?

I've carried a full-sized steel framed 1911 around in a $20 Fobus paddle holster and never got "made." Ditto any of my other carry pistols. I'm actually anxious to try it with my 5" barreled N-framed Model 29 .44 magnum some day, if I ever buy a holster for it. I'll bet nobody will notice it either. Folks just aren't looking for that kind of stuff.
BTW, I wouldn't buy meat from that guy.
You only get six rounds before reloading, but that's OK, 'cause after the first two rounds, the whole world runs away. When you walk around with it, great flocks of birds suddenly take flight, and all the cats just vanish.

Then he shared "but Glocks are the only way to go". "Why" I asked him "because those are easily concealed" he replied.
Only the Glock 7, it's made out of porcelain and won't show up on either X-rays or metal detectors.
(See? I know that because I saw the same movie.

Listen to the news, "GLOCK" is a single syllable buzzword.

Annoyed, have the bad guys in your area started driving tanks? Those ARE shaped-charge rounds, aren't they?
For my part, I carry a Beretta or I don't carry - but that's probably because that's what I own. If we all agreed on the brand/type/caliber, the firearms industry would be very small and boring.
