I have not had to show my CHL to anyone yet. Knock knock. Mine is behind my DL, which has a little window that it can be viewed through. The CHL cannot be seen unless I remove the DL. If I had to remove my DL for some reason and someone asked what that other thing was I suppose I might just say "oh, nothing" or maybe my library card. I guess it can be, but I won't use my CHL for ID unless I have no other choice.
