I am over here rolling in the floor laughing as I read all the ways you guys want to try and get a gun past her, or trick her or bribe her or how you share the finances. Gotta be careful though, if williamkevin came home with a purse to appease me, there'd be trouble. Y'all really put a lot of thought in trying to figure us out, huh? :smilelol5: "rlol" :smilelol5:

Seriously though, you said she was a good shot, but didn't like shooting at paper/targets. Buy some of those playing card targets and then go out and shoot a game of poker. I'm starting to get bored with just shooting at an X on a silhouette myself. But they've got some CRAZY targets out there...playing cards, a dart board, zombies, etc.

Too many? :headscratch

I figure if I can pay cash, I can afford it. Guns. Electronics. Vacations. Whatever.

Maybe that's why I'm single. :headscratch :headscratch

A steel target and a .22 are good for hours of cheap fun. You just need to have a place where you can shoot one.

Yep...done that too. PSC has a great plate rack. My alternative to plain old target shooting is CompVest's Women's Program and IDPA.

I must be different. I have two 1911's, a .38 BUG and a 9mm carbine in the a problem arises closet. I feel that I have enough guns (did I mention the nearly 100 year old M1917 30.06 Remington? :txflag: )Oh, and my wife has her .38spl as well. I only carry one gun at a time, and because I don't live in the country, I can't just go out and shoot whenever I want. I have to pay to go to the range, pay a lot for ammo, when I can find it, and set aside the time for it. I can think of at least a dozen guns I would like to have, but without the room to store them, or the money to buy them, I guess I have enough. Now if I had a rich uncle Smedley who left me a bunch of money..... :woohoo

I never realized there was a limit. Please nobody tell my wife. I told her that I need these and just one more.

Too many could be when you run across one in a safe or safes that you had forgot you had! So far my wife hasn't complained, I have bought her three. Ruger MK III, then a Sig 226 9mm/22LR, and a Walther PPK/S. However, she has complained about the food storage taking up too much space.

That's a great idea! I'll have to look into those. Thanks!

Never had an issue with too many guns but I often hear "What are you going to do with all these boxes of ammo? They're in the way""

This is a situational matter. Shortly after the GF and I started dating, she was present when I bought two more, around for the three after that. Encouraged me to go back and get the first of those. Now, on gun show Sundays, she laughs and asks if I got something new. For Xmas, my beloved got me a Playstation 3, with the entirely unneeded "didn't know which kind of gun you wanted, so I got you this." Post Xmas going out of town, I put the nightstand guns back in the safe, was chastised that "her" .38 was not sleeping soundly on her side of the bed. As far as too many, I now have 10 handguns, 3 rifles and 2 shotguns, with the understanding that there is more room in the safe. Compromise, my friend, compromise.

Told my wife that I've sacrificed last 4 years not buying any firearms while she bought her furniture, purses, etc.. And 2010 is my turn. :evil2: I gave her my list and all she could say is wow and dang. :smilelol5:

With regard to shoes, you can easily find shoes that cost more than a new pistol or even a new Italian shotgun.

Coach purse last a decade? I wish that applied to my wife, she thinks she needs new one for every season of the year.
I was watching Red Dawn with her the other night, (if yall havn't seen that its the one with Patrick Swayze where the Russians invade the U.S), I use that as my excuse. she just rolls her eyes at me. Other times she asks how many guns I have and I always just up the number by one incase I go shopping and she goes and looks in the safe. :thumbs2:
