I've been checking my app online daily and for a long time all I had was
citizenship then this morning: (all at once)

Application : Received
Fingerprints : Complete
Affidavits : Received
DL or ID : Valid
Citizenship : No documentation required
Passport photo holder : Received
Photo : Received
Proof of Classroom training : Received
Proof of Proficiency training : Received
Fee : Received
Background Check : Under review
Concealed Handgun License : Print pending completion of application review

all at once. Anyone else have it just pop I there. I expected only the notice that the applications were recieved not everything else! Looks like I'm waiting for the background check now. Haven't ever had a
traffic ticket so I should be good.

Status change this morning!

Great news for both you guys!

My status has not changed in over a week. Maybe Monday!

Here's my update:

15-May-2010 - Class taken.
21-May-2010 - Online application and fee completed. Packet mailed with signature service requested.
23-May-2010 - Postal service indicates package received and signed for.
07-June-2010 - Online application indicates updated but waiting for supporting information to be mailed.

License Status: Application processed online. Concealed Handgun Licensing is waiting on the receipt of required materials. Once the application and materials have been received by Concealed Handgun Licensing and processing has begun, a more detailed status will appear on this page.

Perhaps they should check the mail.

Exactly 10 working days to acknowledge the online form.

I wonder if that has something to do with them getting the mail. I applied online early may and I JUST got that status message today.

took the class on the 8th of may, certified mailed everything on the 10th. got the ticket back on the 12th. the check cleared the back on May 18th. and havent heard nothing since then.

You see yours soon ....... I took class on the 8th and 1st class mailed on the 11th.... Ck cleared on the 19th.
I wasn't able to view the status online till just this past weekend.

It almost has to be - just wish they'd change the language of their status page to something less ambiguous!

I'm at the "manufacture pending" phase. Is it natural to check the DPS every 15 minutes to see if the status has changed to "mailed?"

I must have mailed in just at the wrong time. I sent mine in April but I'm just now at the status that that the May applicants are in.

Heck, i'm checking every 15 minutes waiting for it to show status

Heck I check every hour sometimes every 15 minutes but it seems the system updates over night all of my updates popped in while I was asleep usually between 1am-6am....I don't sleep much.

From what I've seen in other posts, it takes anywhere from 4-10 days for the change to "mailed" from "manufacture pending" to occur. I'm trying not to check every 15 minutes but it's so hard. I can't wait to Wally walk!

Mine always changed between 5 to 6 AM on a Saturday. But I have seen others have changes at different times and days. It does seem that they come in bunches.
