cute. you passed your wally walk. unfortunately, i failed mine. some lady saw me fidgeting with my holster in the car outside in the parking lot.
oops.
but glad you passed your wally walk. nice costume by the way. did you make it? you made the batman fanny pack holster, right? if so, then good job.

Aw, man! Bad luck for you. Thanks, and I did indeed make my whole costume. I took my carry pack and BatGirl-ified it!

EDIT: Then again, there were quite a few costumed crusaders out when I was out, so maybe it was someone else.

A new post just linked to this one. As I joined the forum well after this Wally Walk I had not come across this post and these photos. Absolutely awesome and totally deserving of a bump to help newer members discover it. (And encourage more costumed Wally Walks.)

hpcatx - Thanks for the bump! I had almost forgotten about this. Just to drive home the point that you can wear whatever you want and no one will notice you're carrying...I wore the costume to a party that night and no one knew. I wear my fanny pack often and don't get a second glance from anyone. I now carry an (almost) full-size 1911 on my hip as my main carry, and most of my friends NEVER KNOW IT'S THERE. There are two friends who pat me down looking for it since they know I carry, but they don't count.
Jumping Frog - Indeed, but I like to speak softly and carry a boom stick. And I don't intend harm on the wicked...though it's gonna happen if they make bad decisions. Kinda in the spirit of Batman?
