Despite having two Sig Sauer P250S (one is a 250c), I decided to buy the Ruger LC9 today. Cabelas had it for $349. Now I just need a good IWB holster for it, my plastic (waiting) and I am all set.

Any particular reason you already decided on a IWB holster?

Deep conceal makes some good shoulder holsters.
I have one and have had great luck with it
Holster is made of light canvas and is held on with velcro.
Wear a light under shirt and strap on the holster over the under shirt
A cowboy shirt that is a size larger than you usually wear
( avoid white due to printing all othe colors are ok stripes are very good)is great it can be unsnapp
quickly if you need access to your hand gun.their web site .
has a guide to measuring yourself to get the right size holster for you.
They have a chart on the web site that lists the type
of holster and what is compatable with your hand gun
welcome aboard :fire cost is less than $ 40.00

I carry a short barrel Taurus 5 shot .357 ( I load it with 38 + P)

I am distinctly un-lanky. My body shape would be categorized as "prosperous." I can conceal anything from a full-sized 1911 or M&P45 down to a PM9 (my smallest gun) and 2 or 3 others inbetween in size without difficulty. I own a Minotaur MTAC IWB holster (after having tried a couple of others) which I like best of my IWBs..........and I never wear it anymore. If I am not pocket carrying a tiny gun, I'm carrying in a belt hoster OWB. Sometimes I belt carry the tiny gun, sometimes a big gun. It all depends.

One thing for sure is that, if CHL becomes a way of life for you, you will own two drawers full of holsters. One drawer is for those holsters that you abandoned because you found something better, and one drawer is for those holsters that you actually use. If I had a nickle for each of the holsters I bought and never use anymore.....

Lastly, as others have said, don't sweat it. It is more important to find something that you can wear comfortably than it is to find the most concealable holster. The reason is that they pretty much all conceal relatively well, but they are not all comfortable enough for all day wear. If you can't carry it comfortably, you probably won't carry it. Put it on, cover it up, and forget about it. Nobody else notices, and nobody really cares. People are walking around in a fog most of the time and have very little situational awareness; and for even those who do have it, it rarely extends to noticing if you have a bump under your shirt, or to speculation as to what the bump might be if they do see it.

Concealed is concealed. Period. Even if someone notices a bump and cares to speculate about it, that is all it is—speculation. What it is is none of their dang business, and unless you show it to them, they cannot possible know for certain what it is. If someone were so rude as to ask, tell them it's your insulin pump or a colostomy bag......or tell them that's a personal question that you prefer not to answer. Or say "Who the hell are you?" But the truth is that nobody is going to ask. Concealed is concealed.

There are three kinds of people who might A) notice a bump and B) speculate as to its origin.
1. Other CHLs
2. Predators
3. LEOs
I say "might" because even most of these are simply not going to notice it unless your gun is showing, or you're wearing a full sized Glock 17 under a skin tight shirt. People just aren't that aware of their surroundings. But the main thing is that other CHL holders aren't going to bother you. Predators are something you should be aware of.....as long as you know who they are and track their movements, you're OK. And LEOs aren't going to bother you unless they have an occasion to interview you and ask for ID.

All this time I just thought I was too short for my weight...now I see it as being richly proportioned, and I am wealthy indeed...thanks, TAM!

I concealed a Sig 226 Navy, or a P7M8, both in Comp-tac IWB holsters, which were very satisfactory once I got a proper belt. A couple of Belt Man belts one black, one brown, plus some Wilderness Instructor belts, and I was all set, until I became too prosperous, I guess the phrase here is. I'll be back in them here shortly, another 15 lbs or so.

Most often I carry a Keltec PF-9, either IWB with a Galco USA-2, or in my right front pocket using an Uncle Mike's. I also have a Galco shoulder rig for my S&W M&P 9, but carry that less often. I also have a fairly "prosperous" body shape, and the PF-9 conceals a lot easier.

After I get my XD45 Service broke in, I'll tote it too, and the Glock 26 can move to my other IWB position.

Current EDC
Glock 26 with 18 round mag + 20 rd spare in Tuck This 2 IWB 3:00
Front pocket Keltec P11 with 12 rd mag
other front pocket Keltec PF9

If cool or rainy, then in addition to those:
Jacket with AMT backup .380 inside one pocket and Seecamp in another pocket

If going to church, in addition to those :
Taurus PT92 with 2 spare mags in Wilderness Safepacker

If just taking a nap/doing yardwork/around the house
Diamondback DB380/TaurusPT709 or Keltec PF9 IWB for pajama bottoms or Shorts.

If on/near the water with live vest I also carry
Taurus .357 revolver with snake shot

My niece borrowed my leg/ankle weights, and I want legs strong enough that I don't get weak/can't walk when I get old. ;-)

My EDC is either a Glock 27 or 23 in an Comp-Tac MTAC holster at 3:30 to 4….keep a spare 23 mag regardless of which one I carry.

Glock 22 40 cal riding in a Supertuck IWB holster. A weapon with that large of a frame probably wouldnt be good for a smaller individual, so I would then recommend G23 or G27 40 cals. Mid and sub compact guns.

The 22 hides nicely on me, but I am also 6'6" / 285 lbs.
