Scary how so much of what he says sounds so sensible and reasnable on the surface. Then when one really thinks about and analyze what he says, one realizes that he is opening the door for his government paid minions to do the dirty work of violating our rights. Scary indeed.

No, NOT what the NRA does. Remember, we're talking Obama here. "Safe" means not owning guns....they will say the only way of being safe is not having a gun in your home. But, if you do have guns, responsible means keeping them locked up and unloaded, and not owning any guns liberals think are scary, like "assault" rifles and handguns. This means making new guns more difficult to use and less reliable. It also means there will be a standard that any gun in the home be unloaded and locked in a safe. Not doing that signals your criminal intent, and therefore makes you one of those dangerous people they're going to be watching. If you have kids, their doctor will ask them if Daddy keeps all his guns unloaded and locked in a safe when he's not out hunting or at the range. Won't be long until the next incident. The plan is proceeding. Most folks, the uninformed, the Fudds, will look at these EOs and say "This is not so bad.""
Like I said in another post, the details will not be known until it is too late.
Yes, there is not much support in either the Senate or House for action on guns. This is merely a delay.
Once the next incident happens, there will be some who resist in Congress. The huddled masses will scream for action.
By then the fed.gov agencies will be armed up and suited up, ready to rock.
Pay attention to the rumors. The government cannot shutdown everything. Yet. Even if somewthing sounds a bit outlandish, it might be pointing to a bit of valuable information.
