My wife's app is 10 days behind mine and her's has not updated.

1/29 - Submitted online application
2/4 - Fingerprinted
2/5 - finished CHL class
2/6 - mailed packet of all materials to DPS
2/21 - e-mailed DPS to make sure they received materials (never heard back)
2/27 - called DPS, was told fingerprints received but that it takes 4-5 weeks to get to things you mail in
2/28 - found this forum
3/5 - Website still shows waiting on materials

Very frustrating. At least I know I'm not alone (although it seems like everyone else from early Feb. is starting to get updates...) Maybe tomorrow...

I sent mine in 2/3 and still no update on the website so I know how you feel!

Called Monday and they said they see in the system that my paperwork was printed and my fingerprints received. He said that it really should be updated on the website by now but that they are so busy. He asked me to call back Friday if no update and they will check on it.

Looks like my packet was printed and then never got put in the right file...........

As of today still says waiting on documents, this wait is getting real long. My issue is that I am moving out of my apartment at the end of April and I hope it comes before then. I made the mistake of not using my permanent address instead of my school address

This makes me feel better to know because I can not even get them on phone, I hope they are processing my app even though it has not updated on the website. Can I ask how long did you wait on hold for them to answer the phone and the time of day?

I called Monday afternoon around 3pm. Dialed about 10 times to get a ring and then waited on hold about 30 min. I have heard others say it is generally easier to get ahold of them towards the end of the week during the afternoons.
