I definitely like the idea of a range and bringing/smoking/cooking our food. If the boss (Mrs. Rrash) says yes, I'm in.

Would love to do this if schedule allows! Saturday afternoons/evenings would work best, as Sunday is typically a crazy day with church, kid activities, shopping and getting ready for another week..... Would also vote for doing an Elm Fork cookout/shoot-em-up if we can make that work. I've got a few relatively new acquisitions I've yet to try out... ;-)

If my schedule allows it, I'll be there. The last two were really fun.
Happy Trails! N

How does March 30th sound? The only conflict on this day may be that I think it is Easter weekend. Otherwise, we could push it to April 6, unless that Diva's have a regular thing on the first Saturday each month.

If we're going to BBQ I can't wait to see all the BBQ rigs that will be on display due to the ability to OC at a range, no?

Easter is the 31st. I think we should push in to April, maybe the 6th?

DIVA events at Elm Fork are twice a year, spring and fall.

Crossfire will not be available on Easter weekend, and I am sure many others will be unavailable also . If we could do this in April, would be much better.

I think the Diva events are twice a year.

As for OC, I had thought the same - but it would be a no-no even there at the range. When I asked why, I was told that it's still city property and would be considered the same as OC on a city sidewalk by LEO :grumble
Interesting. I didn't know that Elm Fork was owned by the city. I thought it was private property and a gun range where guns are expected. :headscratch

It is part of the Dallas Parks Department.

On the range, it is legal to OC, period. That is the law in Texas.
