I have definitely learned quite a bit today.

I got to watch a few decent parts of it. Rand Paul has done an excellent job, and it was also very nice to see the teamwork that the other Republican Senators showed. THAT is how to get the job done. Good luck, Senator Paul.

I am loving this..... a 12 hour, maybe more, Constitutional Seminar by some of the folks who have to deal with it every day.

You folks in Texas can be button popping proud of Senator Cruz. He's only been there a couple of months and already become a force to be reckoned with.

Paul, Cruz and Rubio are going to be important leaders for a good long time and this is first time in a long time I have felt good about our future, albeit not all THAT good, but somewhat better.

No matter how this ends, it will be a historic event.

I agree 1000%. But deep down inside I know that this historic defense of the Constitution will get little or no media coverage, and will go virtually unnoticed by the American public. But, I am given great hope by Sen. Paul, Sen., Cruz, Sen. Rubio, and the many others standing up for our rights.

You just have to love these guys. 100 senators and only a handful even support the constitution.

The president can legally pardon a convicted murderer but NOBODY has the legal authority to assasinate an American citizen on American soil unless they are an immediate threat to someone else. Why is it that so few are standing up with Paul on this? A big outcry about water boarding but no outcry about murder.

just short of 13 hours, and Cruz was there to the end. We have a lot to be proud of, and a great deal of hope for the (a) future.

My question is this: With men like Ted Cruz and Rand Paul in our legislature. Why is the Republican party fielding poor candidates to run for President? Both of these men are inspiring, articulate, and young enough to appeal to more voters. Rand Paul gave an outstanding speech and I loved Ted Cruz reading tweets.

I am so proud of them my buttons are bursting! Wonderful to see such courage still in a few shining gems of politicians. We need a few more bright stars up there!

It caused great pain in my heart when I was researching Cruz prior to the election and discovered that he can't run for POTUS
After immigration from Cuba to Texas his parents moved from Texas to Canada for a couple of years for work and it just so happens that Ted was born during those years. To bad they didn't just cross back over here for his birth. We all know that since he is a Republican conservative that will definitly be an issue.
