Hello all, I'm new here.

Sent all my paperwork on the 13th, approximately 2 weeks ago today, been checking everyday this week but still no update! Just says waiting on required material. Anyone else in the same boat?

Welcome! It seems that most everyone is for a while, it doesn't change status frequently, seems to me by most accounts it will say that for 40 days then randomly say mailed.

I am a NOOB obviously, but I sent my paperwork to Austin on 9/6. ABSOLUTELY no status change until today and now it is MANUFACTURING!

GAH, I am so jealous of you all... I sent my stuff in online on the 23rd... It has ONLY BEEN ONE WEEK. Time is dragging.

Yes. I'm also new here, and I sent mine in on the 17th regular mail. Still getting the same status required material status. I'm afraid mine isn't going to be getting here until well into October/November.

Does anyone know if it's been longer for Veterans? I pretty much listed my overseas addresses as well as stateside in order to maintain congruency.

I mailed mine on 9/15 (Regular Mail) & I am waiting on the status to change from License Status: Application processed online. Concealed Handgun Licensing is waiting on the receipt of required materials.

But coming from NJ... Just the ability to buy a long rifle took me 6 months... So I am not complaining just wanting to see the status change so I know they received it.

I mailed mine on Sept. 3. USPS-Certified w/return receipt. I got the card back saying it was signed for on Sept. 9. So 6 days in the mail. On Sept. 20, the website was updated (first update) to say Background Check: Under Review.
No updates beyond that.

Mine just updated yesterday for the first time and I sent my stuff on 6 SEPT.
