It's a shame you had to order yours. If this happened to me I would return the mag to the store where I bought it and show them the defect, try to get them to exchange for one that didn't have the defect, and let them deal with returning it to the manufacturer. If it were less than 30 days from purchase, of course. If longer, I would return them to Magpul for investigation and refund or replacement. I bet they would do that as long as it wasn't due to being dropped or damaged in some way.
I ordered them out of convenience. If I am convinced these mags have a problem, I'll return them. It may be a function of the mags being new? They function fine once loaded so there may not be an issue. I appreciate the input.

I just loaded a few rounds into one of my brand new PMAGs. I also saw what looked like a slight bowing of the feed lips, so I pulled out my micrometer.

Nope, no spreading. It must be an optical illusion, at least on my PMAGs.

ETA: The mag I did this with was a Gen M3 with no window.

Hadn't thought about measuring them. I've got a vernier gauge around here somewhere. I need to find it and see if I get the same results.

Thanks.

we bought the Sig M400 before the prices jumped. It is a very good rifle and absolutely no issues with it.
Very happy with it. AND it should be a Chevy anyway.

I'm currently building my first with every part ordered I have 684 I'm my rifle for exactly what I wanted the first go round versus buying a pre done one and changing hand guard ect.. it's all preference but I'd definitely recommend staying within milspec internals bcg ect
