I wouldn't have believed it when I first started concealing, but there's not many occasions where I can't conceal an XD with a good belt, holster and the right clothing. For the other times I got a J-frame and speed strips.

10-4 on that. Whatever gun you carry - it gets smaller the more you carry!
I used to worry about carrying ONE gun when I first got my plastic.
Now I carry TWO guns onbody every day and it's just natural.
Extra mags are nice, but an extra loaded gun is even better. :-)

I have not had a problem concealing larger guns. For me, it is about horsepower to weight ratio. I have a bad back, and heavier, larger guns are sometimes more painful for me to carry.....whereas smaller lighter guns are fairly easy for me. Since I tend to carry smaller lighter guns these days, I insist that they be of a credible self-defense caliber. That's why even my small guns are either 9mm, .45 ACP, or .357 Magnum. I don't speak .380.

I carry an M&P Shield or a Kahr all the time & they are both great... the SIG P938 is also a great choice.
