I already called.... the warehouse is in Coppell, not far from me, and they have a store front. I kind of want to drive over there just to see if they say the same thing to me.AndyC wrote:Slick! The only steel parts in mine will be the baffles and the challenge coin. All the other parts are titanium.
Hurry up and order the freeze-plugs - I found that the best way was to order them through NAPA online to be shipped to your nearest NAPA store; most stores don't seem to have more than a few plugs physically in-stock. It was amusing when I went to pick them up, too - the guy said to me 'Building a silencer, huh" (it wasn't a question)
Looks about the same cost as the parts from SDT which Andy and I used.baldeagle wrote:For those of you thinking about this (and I'm now one of them), you can buy kits - for example - https://www.solventtrap.net/product/solvent-trap-kit/ - that are fairly inexpensive. Then, after you get your NFA stamp, you can get everything drilled out, and you're good to go.
You know I will.AndyC wrote:Call me if you have questions - I have the plug-forming tool, too.baldeagle wrote:For those of you thinking about this (and I'm now one of them)
Everything you need, videos included, is right here: http://sdtacticalarms.commaverick2076 wrote:What tools do you need for the drilling, build and assembly? Is there somewhere you would recommend where I could watch a step by step video or instruction guide?
Here's the correct link for the suppressor article: https://magazine.gruntstyle.com/2016/02 ... ppressors/PBR wrote:http://www.tycaindustries.com/ --- one place like mentioned above that sells whole kits -- or kits to be used on your mag flashlight casing -- was and still considering the mag casing style -- i happen to have 4 or 5 mag cases laying around
came across this earlier today and this seems super impressive (not a build your own or kit though) https://www.gruntstyle.com/magazine/201 ... ppressors/
