14 Jun - Mailed
15 Jun - Application Received
01 Jul - Information available online
06 Jul - Received Letter from DPS asking for a cleaner copy of my DD214
16 Jul - DPS Received DD214
23 Jul - BC and all other items 'cleared' and Manufacturing Pending (all on the same day)
29 Jul - Status changed to mailed
30 Jul - Received letter from DPS (dated 26 Jul) that they had just received my CHL Application
02 Aug - Plastic Received
My wife's is very much the same. She also needed to submit a better copy of her DD214. Both of our DD214s were received at the same time. Her finger prints were changed to Complete on 08 July. Her current status: Passport Holder, Special Documentation (DD214), and background check are still listed as Under Review.

Woo Hoo. Checked DPS last night at 11:00 and BGC under review. Checked at 6:00 this morning and BGC has been complete. Getting closer

Manufacturing Pending to receiving my Plastic. It seemed like a really long wait.

06/28/2010 Packet mailed
only open item on the website now is:
Concealed Handgun License : Manufacturing Pending

Now just waiting on Background Check and Issuance of the License.
It is interesting to see they do posts on Saturday night because the fingerprint was still pending on Saturday and didn't show up until Sunday morning.
Checked the status today and background check was green and it said license mailed! Should get it soon!

I suspect that you are going to see a status change soon, too. I was still BGC pending last night and this morning it shows BGC complete and manufacture pending.
The end is almost in sight.........

Yup! Everything else has been done for a month. Now for the longest 6-10 days EVER!
